Kwabena holds a PhD from the CEPMLP of the University of Dundee and a competent person under the auspices of the Australia Asia Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM). He is also a member of the renowned think tank, The Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House). He also holds memberships of the Geological Society of America (GSA), the Geological Society of Africa (GSA), and the Ghana Institute of Geoscientists (GhIG). He is a strong advocate for and speak on good mineral resource governance for the developing world.
